Abdul Joshi, resident of Hunza, on Monday successfully climbed the world’shighest mountain Mount Everest and raised Pakistan’s flag on top of theworld.
Joshi is well Known as a “pathfinder” among mountaineers because of hissuper skills. The expedition began on April 22 and they reached Camp 4 onMay 15.
The thirty-eight-year-old Joshi embarked the final summit from Camp 4 lastnight at around 9pm and reached the top on Sunday near 5am. The summit wasconfirmed on Joshi’s Facebook page.
“Alhamdulliah! Another triumph for Pakistan! Abdul Joshi has summited MountEverest – the Highest Mountain in the World. May Allah be praised for allHis glory,” the post read.
