*ISLAMABAD: The federal government on Wednesday ordered interior ministryto provide VIP security to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)Vice-President Maryam Nawaz. *
The Ministry of Interior approved VIP security cover for PML-N leaderMaryam Nawaz on the recommendation of the threat assessment committee.
The PML-N vice president will be provided police and rangers security coverduring her stay and movement in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
Furthermore, the interior ministry has asked respective provinces toprovide the same security cover to Maryam during her movement in otherdistricts.
