The Election Commission of Pakistan has started preparing for the 2023General Elections. The commission wrote a letter to the Ministry ofParliamentary Affairs, Ministry of Housing, and Pakistan Bureau ofStatistics.
According to sources, it raised the demand for issuing the final results ofthe 7th Census be given by the year-end.
The terms of the National Assembly and three provincial assemblies aregoing to end on August 12, they said, adding that voter lists should berevised after delimitation.
The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics has as been asked to submit thepreliminary results of the census by December 31, 2022, sources said.
