Taking notice of the increase in power outages in the country and people’sproblems, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered to take emergencymeasures to significantly reduce power load-shedding by the next month.
Shehbaz Sharif said he will not sit back till people get rid of thisproblem. He directed to make every possible effort to provide relief thepeople from the pain caused by the criminal negligence of the previousgovernment.
He said interim measures should be taken till sufficient amount of oil andgas is arranged. He said the government led by former Prime Minister NawazSharif had provided ample amount of exrtra electricity in the country, butunfortunately, the previous government led by former Prime Minister ImranKhan failed to add a single unit to it.
Shehbaz Sharif said the Imran-Government neither procured fuel well in timenor ensured maintenance of the power plants. He said what an irony it isthat the Imran-Government closed the most efficient and affordable powerplants installed by the last government of the PML-N and used expensive andinefficient plants.
The Prime Minister said the nation is paying 100 billion rupees monthly forthis excess of the previous government. He said due to negligence of theprevious rulers, one LNG ship that was getting six billion rupees is nowcosting the nation at the rate of 20 billion rupees.
This tyranny of Imran-Government will cost the nation more than 500 billionthis year. He said the previous rulers have hatched a conspiracy tobankrupt Pakistan’s economy by destroying energy sector.
