ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has expressed deep concern over the bulldozing ofMuslim-owned properties in Jahangirpuri, New Delhi.
In a statement, Foreign Office said that this shocking incident is furthermanifestation of the absolute apathy, complete disregard for the rule oflaw, and deeply entrenched hatred against the Muslims in India.
It said that during the holy month of Ramazan, there has been a visiblesurge in communal violence against Muslims spearheaded by radical Hindumobs.
The Foreign Office said Pakistan calls upon India to treat the Muslims withdignity, transparently investigate the recent incidents of widespreadviolence, and take effective measures to prevent the recurrence of suchincidents in future.
