Pakistan and Saudi forces wrap up joint Counter-Terrorism Exercise

A joint counter-terrorism exercise called AL BATTAR-I has recentlyconcluded in northwest Pakistan, with the participation of Pakistani andSaudi troops. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced thisdevelopment on Monday.

This two-week-long exercise, which commenced last month, brought togetherspecial forces from both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The primary objectivewas to strengthen the historical military ties between Islamabad andRiyadh. The exercise aimed to foster a joint employment concept forcounter-terrorism efforts and to identify potential areas of mutualinterest for future military collaborations.

During this exercise, Special Forces and aviation experts showcased theirexceptional professionalism in various air drills. The commitment andcompetence of these forces were evident throughout the training.

The final day of the exercise witnessed the presence of Saudi Arabia’sambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, and senior militaryleaders. The event concluded with an impressive fly-past, symbolizing thesuccessful collaboration between the two nations in the realm ofcounter-terrorism.
