According to reports, lawyers Shoaib Shaheen and Naeem Haider Panjutha metwith the former prime minister while he was in Attock Jail. Shoaib Shaheen,speaking to journalists after the meeting, conveyed that the PTI leaderexpressed concern about Pakistan’s worsening economic situation.
Meanwhile, Naeem Haider Panjutha reassured everyone that Imran Khan was ingood health in jail and emphasized the importance of political stability inthe country. He quoted the PTI Chairman as saying that if court decisionsweren’t respected, foreign investments would be deterred, and he reaffirmedImran Khan’s commitment to remaining in Pakistan.
In related developments, the record of the cypher case was handed over toImran Khan’s legal team. The PTI had previously rejected the transfer ofthe cypher case hearing to Attock Jail, expressing concerns about humanrights violations and urging the Supreme Court to take notice.
