ATC gives verdict in Imaan Mazari terrorism Case

The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) situated in Islamabad has taken asignificant decision by granting bail to Imaan Mazari, a prominent humanrights lawyer, in the Terrorism Funding Case. In this pivotal legaldevelopment, the ATC in Islamabad meticulously reviewed the bailapplication submitted by Imaan Mazari, who happens to be the daughter ofthe former minister, Shireen Mazari.

Presiding over the hearing, Judge Abual Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnainmeticulously weighed the evidence and arguments presented before him andsubsequently rendered a favorable verdict, granting Imaan Mazari bail inthe Terrorism Funding Case.

In light of this, the court stipulated a condition for her release,mandating that she furnish a Rs 10,000 surety bond. This legal proceedingrevolves around allegations of financial support extended to individualsinvolved in terrorist activities, and the case itself is officiallyregistered at the Bhara Kahu police station.

Moreover, Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb, in a succinct two-page writtendirective, issued an order that effectively shields Imaan Mazari fromarrest in any potential new cases that may emerge.
