CTD arrests five female terrorists of banned terror group from Lahore

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has successfully apprehended fivefemale terrorists in various cities of Punjab while conducting operations.According to the CTD spokesperson, during an intelligence-based operation,three women were arrested in Lahore, while two others were captured inSheikhupura.

The detained women have been identified as members of a bannedorganization, known by their aliases: Laiba, Fakhra, Sadiya, Aimen,Javeria, and Faiza. During the operation, prohibited literature, mobilephones, and weapons were confiscated from the terrorists.

The CTD has initiated legal proceedings against all three women andcommenced an investigation into their activities. This developmenthighlights the government’s commitment to combat terrorism and dismantleterror networks, regardless of the gender of the individuals involved.
