In North Waziristan District’s Miran Shah area, an army major and anothersoldier lost their lives during an intelligence-based operation conductedby security forces, as reported by the military’s media wing on Friday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that Major Amir Aziz,leading the operation, confronted a group of terrorists, resulting in thedeath of one terrorist and injury to another. Tragically, Major Amir, aged29, and Sepoy Muhammad Arif, aged 27, were martyred during the intenseexchange of fire.
The ISPR emphasized ongoing efforts to eliminate terrorists in the area,underscoring Pakistan’s determination to combat terrorism and honoring thesacrifices of its soldiers.
Additionally, in the Khyber district, a soldier was martyred and aterrorist was killed in a firefight in the Tirah area during the nightbetween August 31 and September 1. Havildar Muntazir Shah, aged 36, foughtbravely and embraced martyrdom during this intense confrontation, with thekilled terrorist being involved in numerous acts of terrorism againstsecurity forces and civilians.
