In the interview given to Star Sports, former Indian cricketer GautamGambhir was asked if there was any message from Babar Azam’s century in theopening match of the Asia Cup for Team India. To this, he responded bysaying that he doesn’t think they need any message, but despite that, theywill face a challenge from India’s fast bowlers.
The former cricketer mentioned that in traditional encounters between rivalteams, the presence of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, and Mohammad Sirajwon’t make it easy for Pakistan. India also possesses a strong attack thatcan pose difficulties for Babar Azam and his company.
Babar Azam has an impressive average of 59.47 in One Day Internationals,having scored 5353 runs. However, against India, he has managed to scoreonly 158 runs in five innings with an average of 31.60.
