Islamabad- Approval has been granted for the formation of a NationalEconomic Council. The Council, under the leadership of the Prime Minister,will consist of 13 members. The President of the country, Dr. Arif Alvi,has approved the formation of the National Economic Council. The Council,under the leadership of the Prime Minister, comprises 13 members.
The National Economic Council includes the Prime Minister and the ChiefMinisters of all four provinces, along with representatives from theprovincial governments. From Punjab, the Minister for Energy and Industry,Commerce, Investment, and Skill Development, S.M. Tanveer, has beenincluded in the National Economic Council. From Sindh, the Minister forFinance, Planning, and Development, Muhammad Yunus Dagha, has beenincluded.
