The All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) hasreported a substantial increase in the price of 24-carat gold, which surgedby Rs3,400 to settle at Rs239,800 per tola. Simultaneously, the cost of10-gram gold experienced a notable rise of Rs2,915, reaching a settlementvalue of Rs205,590. On the global front, the international market witnesseda $7 hike in gold prices, leading to a settlement at $1,945 per ounce.
In the preceding day’s trading, the value of gold demonstrated a similarupward trajectory. The price of 24-carat gold surged by Rs2,900, reaching asettlement of Rs236,400 per tola. This upward movement in gold pricesunderscores the dynamic nature of the precious metal market, bothdomestically and internationally.
