UN Security Council strongly reacts over Bajaur suicide blast in Pakistan

The UN Security Council has strongly condemned the recent suicide attack ata political meeting in Pakistan’s Bajaur district, which resulted in thedeaths of at least 54 people.

The members of the UN Security Council expressed their deepest sympathiesand condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government ofPakistan.

The members of the Security Council reaffirm that terrorism in all itsforms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats tointernational peace and security. They reiterated that any acts ofterrorism are criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of their motivation.
