New development reported in the Toshakhana case in IHC

New development has been reported in the Toshakhana case in the IslamabadHigh Court as the Islamabad High Court has directed the PTI chairman toremove the objections raised by the registrar office on his petitionagainst the trial court’s decision to declare the Toshakhana criminalproceedings admissible.

IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq on Monday heard the petition withobjections. He remarked that time has changed, values have changed, but westill have old values.

The judge remarked that may be in such cases stakes are high as these arepolitical issues.

PTI lawyer Khawaja Haris told the judge that today their case is in thetrial court. He said this case should not go before the same judge. Herequested the court to hear this case today.

The chief justice, however, said that the court could not hear his casetoday, but it would take it tomorrow.

Khawaja Haris Advocate said that their transfer application is also pendingin this court.
