The British government has rejected the request of the Indian governmentnot to grant political asylum to the Sikhs.
After the Sikh protesters in London took down the flag from the Indian HighCommission, the Indian government demanded that the separatist Sikhs not begranted political asylum in the UK, which was rejected by the UK’s ExternalAffairs Department.
The UK External Affairs Department said to Modi Sarkar in India that anyonewho meets the political asylum law will be given asylum in the country.
On Punjab’s cultural day–Happy Baisakhi, Sikh leaders reached the BritishParliament and chanted slogans against the Modi Sarkar and in favour of aseparate country from India–Khalistan.
On this occasion, Sikh leader Paramjit Puma said that the Sikh nation isfighting for its freedom, from which no one can stop them
