ISLAMABAD – The federal government on Wednesday removed Muhammad SaeedWazir as Inspector General of Police, Gilgit-Baltistan.

Saeed has been directed to report to the establishment division afterrelinquishing the charge.

The government has appointed Dar Ali Khattak, a Grade-20 officer of KhyberPakhtunkhwa, as new chief of the GB police.
