Several petitions against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan weresubmitted to the Lahore High Court on Saturday.
The petitions were filed by Bashir Ahmad Chohan, Mashkoor Hussain, NaeemQamar Advocate and Nadeem Sarwar Advocate.
According to petitioners, PTI Chief Imran Khan appeared before the courtson Friday in the shape of groups and committed contempt of court.
The petitioners further accused the former prime minister of making commonthe tradition of getting favourable court decisions forcibly by hurlingthreats. They also accused him of dividing the judiciary even after gettingjudgements in his favour.
The petitions stated that the PTI chief tried to make court decisions thatwere against him controversial on social media.
Imran and his followers created a ruckus outside the Lahore High Court andIslamabad High Court on purpose so that Imran could skip the courthearings, the petitions added.
The petitions prayed with the court to initiate contempt proceedingsagainst PTI Chief Imran Khan for storming the Islamabad Judicial Complexalong with his supporters, damaging the government buildings and appearingbefore the court while raising slogans.
