Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar Thursday said the staff-level agreementwith International Monetary Fund (IMF) is expected to be finalized nextweek.
The finance minister told the media on Thursday that negotiations with theIMF are about to end as discussions with the IMF are proceeding positively.
Ishaq Dar said economic indicators are gradually moving in the rightdirection but some anti-state elements are spreading rumours of the defaultof Pakistan which is baseless and contrary to the facts.

He confirmed that the State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) foreign exchangereserves have increased by one billion dollars and foreign commercial bankshave started providing facilities to Pakistan.
