Police in Multan Wednesday arrested Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf candidate fromNA-155 Amir Dogar and Pakitna Muslim League-Nawaz candidate Tariq Rasheed.
Amir Dogar was arrested from his place and sent to Cantt police station.
At least 12 PTI workers were also arrested from party leader Amir Dogar’sDera (guest house) in Multan as police raided the place for apprehendingthe party activists allegedly involved in creating chaos outside theElection Commission of Pakistan (ECP) office soon after they scuffled withPakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) workers.
The former PTI MNA, who was present at the time of the raid, demanded thathe be arrested along with party workers.
