The birth anniversary of fourth pious Caliph of Islam Hazrat Ali (RA) isbeing observed today (Sunday, 13 Rajab) with religious reverence.
Special functions have been organised at mosques and imambargahs at whichreligious scholars will shed light on the teachings and life of the fourthcaliph.
Apart from that both the state-owned, PTV, and private TV channels will airprogrammes to mark the occasion.
Meanwhile, strict security arrangements have been put in place asprocessions will be taken out in different cities of the country to payhomage to Hazrat Ali (RA).
