The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has filed a petition in the Lahore High Courtrequesting it to order the Punjab governor to announce date for holdingprovincial assembly elections.
The petition was filed by PTI Secretary General Asad Umar on Friday.
The petition made the Punjab governor respondent through his principalsecretary.
