Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, former President and PPP Co-Chairman AsifAli Zardari, and PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman held an important meetingand discussed the current political situation in the country on Thursdayevening.
Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister for Economic andPolitical Affairs Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, and Minister for Railways and AviationKhawaja Saad Rafiq also participated in the meeting.
The huddle took place at the PM House in Islamabad in which the politicalsituation prevailing in the country deliberated upon.
The meeting took up issues relating to the elections in Punjab and KhyberPakhtunkhwa (KP).

In the huddle, the prime minister also informed the allied parties’leadership about the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program and thecountry’s economic situation.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received former President Asif AliZardari and JUI head Maulana Fazlur Rehman himself at the entrance of thePM House.
