LHC verdict over case of super tax collection by FBR

The Lahore High Court has conditionally barred the Federal Bureau ofRevenue (FBR) from recovery of super tax.

The FBR’s decision for recovery of the super tax was challenged in thecourt, upon which the court ordered a halt to the process till furtherdirective.

The court issued notices to the FBR and other respondents seeking theirreplies.
