PIA joint venture with Turkish Airlines results in increase of revenue of national flag carrier

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) joint venture with Turkish Airlineshas resulted in an increase in revenue of the national flag carrier.

PIA has earned Rs2 billion through flight operations to Istanbul fromLahore and Islamabad.

Sources said that more than 38,000 tickets to Istanbul from Lahore andIslamabad were sold during one month.
