Significant increase in the number of pending cases in Supreme Court of Pakistan

The cases pending in the Supreme Court increased significantly. Accordingto the details, the number of cases pending in the Supreme Court exceeded52,000.

The Supreme Court released the report of total pending cases till the dateof November 30, 2022.

The report said that 52,190 cases are pending in the SC and 840 new caseswere filed from November 16 to 30.

While 675 cases were disposed of during the same period.

The SC report further said that as of October 1, the number of total casespending in the SC was 50,369 cases.
