Government has executed petroleum concession agreements and explorationlicenses for hydrocarbon search in six blocks.
The blocks awarded for exploration include Chah Bali, Mach, Dadhar, KalatWest, Sui North and Meeranpur.
According to details shared by the Ministry of Energy, the minimuminvestment to be carried out by the companies in these blocks forprospecting will be sixty five million dollars.

The Ministry of Energy further stated in a statement that the efforts inthese blocks will bear fruit in the country in the form of additionalhydrocarbon reserves during the next few years and will not only enhanceinvestment in the petroleum sector but also contribute in bridging theenergy demand and supply gap.
