German Ambassador to Pakistan Alfred Grannas called on Chief of Army Staff(COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, the overall regionalsituation, and bilateral cooperation in various fields were discussed.
COAS General Bajwa said that Pakistan attaches great importance to itsrelations with Germany.
He congratulated the dignitary on assuming the office of Ambassador andexpressed hope that relations between the two countries will furtherprosper.

The visiting dignitary expressed his grief over the devastation caused byfloods in Pakistan and offered sincere condolence to the families of thevictims.
He also appreciated Pakistan’s continuous efforts for regional stabilityand pledged to play his role in further improvement of diplomaticcooperation with Pakistan at all levels.
