Former fast bowler of the national cricket team, Mohammad Amir, hasrecommended the inclusion of two inform key players in the national teamsquad for the upcoming World Cup in India.
During an interview with a local TV channel, Mohammad Amir expressed hisopinion, stating that All-Rounder Imad Wasim and former captain SarfarazAhmed had earned their spots in the World Cup squad, while Zaman Khan andAbrar Ahmed should have been part of the 15-member squad instead of beingreserve players.
He also mentioned that in the conditions of India, Abrar Ahmed could havebeen a valuable asset for Pakistan, and Zaman Khan has shown excellentperformance in the final overs of matches, demonstrating his capabilitiesin the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Previously, Mohammad Amir had identified England, India, Australia, andPakistan as strong contenders for the World Cup semifinals.
It’s worth noting that the national team’s first match in the tournamentwill be played against the Netherlands on October 6th at the Rajiv GandhiCricket Stadium in Hyderabad.
