On the second day of the fifth round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy crickettournament, a notable achievement was Lahore Whites’ Ahmed Shehzad scoringa double century.

At Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Lahore Whites won the toss against Peshawar,chose to bat first, and the team managed to score 568 runs before gettingout. Ahmed Shehzad, who had scored 163 runs with the help of 22 boundarieson the first day, went on to score 253 runs before getting out. His inningsincluded 1 six and 30 fours. Umar Akmal contributed 64 runs, andoff-spinner Mehran Ibrahim took 5 wickets after giving away 57 runs.

On the second day of the match, Peshawar Region had scored 76 runs with aloss of one wicket at the conclusion of their innings.
