Afghanistan takes important decision on illegal refugees expelled from Pakistan

The Afghan interim administration, under the leadership of ChiefHaibutallah, has decided to establish a refugee camp for individuals beingdeported from Pakistan near its border. Reports indicate that a committeecomprising officials from six different ministries has been assembled tooversee this initiative.

This Afghan government camp is slated to be situated in the Lalpur districtof Nagarhar province, situated just across the border from Pakistan.

It is expected to function as a tented village, and international agenciesare anticipated to provide assistance in its establishment.

Additionally, the government has chosen to cover the travel expenses forfamilies where the guardian is female, rather than male. Sources alsosuggest that nearly 100,000 families have relocated from Pakistan toAfghanistan in the past year.
