A secure decision has been made on the application for the recovery offormer Prime Minister and PTI Chairman’s nephew, Hassan Niazi. The LahoreHigh Court has asked the lawyers for further evidence by October 17.
Justice Sultan Tanveer Ahmed heard Hassan Niazi’s father, HafizullahNiazi’s request. The lawyer stated that the court had also grantedpermission for a meeting with the petitioner’s son. A request has been madeto the court to issue an order for a meeting between Hassan Niazi and hisparents.
The court has given a deadline to the government lawyer to respond to thecontempt of court application, while Hafizullah Niazi has filed a requestfor the recovery of his son. Hassan Niazi was arrested from Abbottabad onAugust 14.
He is accused of being involved in the attack on Jinnah House on May 9. OnAugust 17, the case was transferred to a military court where the trialwill take place. The police had informed that the suspect was transferredfrom Quetta to Rawalpindi. It should be noted that the Lahore High Courthad previously conducted a hearing on Hassan Niazi’s recovery application.

The court had asked for responses from the Inspector General, CCPO, and SHOSoror Road on August 18. The court’s order was that if Hassan Niazi is inthe custody of the IG, CCPO, or SHO, he should be produced.
