Riyadh: Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have signed a memorandum of understandingfor bilateral cooperation in the IT sector.
According to details, a meeting took place between Federal Minister for IT,Omar Saif, and Engineer Abdullah Amer Al-Swaha, in which PakistaniAmbassador Ahmed Farooq, Saudi officials, and IT experts participated.
Following the meeting, both sides signed a bilateral MOU on mutualcooperation in the IT sector, agreeing to collaborate in the field of IT inboth Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Both countries have also agreed to promote the private sector in the ITindustry, and the agreement includes a bilateral pact on digital economywithin the scope of the MOU.
