The federal government has made a significant decision after recentincidents of terrorism and has called for a meeting of the Apex Committee.
Pakistan has witnessed a series of terrorist incidents in the past fewdays, including suicide attacks outside a mosque during the EidMilad-un-Nabi procession, suicide attacks inside a mosque during Fridayprayers in Hangu, and an attack on a police patrolling post in Gojra,resulting in the martyrdom of several innocent civilians and a policeofficer.
The federal government, in light of these recent terrorist attacks, hastaken a major action and requested a meeting of the Apex Committee, chairedby Interior Minister Anwar Kamal Kakar, scheduled for tomorrow (Monday).
Initially, the government had announced the meeting of the Apex Committeeto be held on Tuesday in the first official statement regarding thismatter. However, in a subsequent statement, there was a change in itsschedule, and now this meeting is scheduled to take place on October 2nd.
The meeting of the Apex Committee, scheduled for tomorrow, will be attendedby military officials, members of the federal cabinet, and other relevantauthorities. Provincial chief ministers from all four provinces have alsobeen invited to participate.
