In 2023, Mickey Arthur, the Team Director for Pakistan’s cricket team,arrived in India on Sunday to join the men’s squad. The Pakistan CricketBoard (PCB) made this announcement through an official statement.
Mickey Arthur was appointed to this role by the PCB in April of this yearbut had been available to the team only to a limited extent due to hiscontract with Derbyshire.
He was absent during Pakistan’s series against Sri Lanka in July and alsounavailable for their series against Afghanistan in August.

In the recent Asia Cup held last month, Arthur was present with the teamfor just one match. The PCB confirmed his presence with the national men’sside in Hyderabad, India, in their statement.
