Renowned Indian journalist Vikrant Gupta raised questions about thenational cricket team’s flawed fielding and batting.
Tweeting on the social media site Twitter (X), famous Indian sportsjournalist Vikrant Gupta wrote that Pakistan will have to make a greateffort to win against stronger teams in the big matches, especially in thefielding/catching and spin attack.
He said that Pakistan’s current team tends to crumble under pressure fromany opponent, and they will have to rely on their fast bowlers with the newball in the initial 10 overs, or else they will be at a disadvantage.
Vikrant Gupta mentioned that spinners will play a significant role in Indiaduring the early stages of the scheduled World Cup matches, which couldlead to changes in conditions if played in October. However, Pakistan willneed to work on their batting and fielding.
He further questioned why Shadab Khan did not bowl overs in the matchagainst New Zealand, and he couldn’t understand why Pakistan’s current spinattack appears weak and this is the biggest weakness of Pakistan team inWorld Cup.
