In the initial 28 days of September 2023, the Federal Board of Revenue(FBR) provisionally gathered more than Rs 815 billion, surpassing themonthly goal of Rs 795 billion by Rs 20 billion.
The FBR has achieved its revenue target for September 2023 within this timeframe, with expectations of additional growth in the remaining two days ofthe month.
In the first quarter of 2022-23 (July-September), provisional taxcollections amounted to Rs 2,022 billion, exceeding the quarterly target ofRs 1,978 billion by Rs 44 billion.
