Former Foreign Minister Jalil Jilani has said that Pakistani cricketenthusiasts should be granted Indian visas to watch World Cup matches.India has refused to issue visas to Pakistan’s cricket fans willing to goto India for Pakistan matches.
Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, former Foreign Minister JalilAbbas Jilani emphasized that according to International Cricket Council(ICC) rules, fans must be given visas.
He stated that Pakistani cricket fans should be given Indian visas, and thePakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will negotiate with the ICC for these visas.
Jalil Abbas Jilani also mentioned that the Prime Minister, delivered animportant speech at the General Assembly, where he participated in acrucial meeting on infectious diseases. He further noted that during themeeting, the Prime Minister held meetings with various world leaders andgave interviews to representatives of the international media.
