The senior judge and returning officer for the by-election in the SkarduValley area of Gilgit-Baltistan have announced the final results.
According to the returning officer, Muhammad Khurshid Khan of PTI obtained6,644 votes, Farrman Ali of PML-N secured 5,414 votes, and Abdul Hamid Khanof the People’s Party remained in third place with 4,458 votes.
It’s important to note that the Chief Election Commissioner had initiallyhalted the results based on the request of the PML-N candidate, and thefinal announcement of the candidate’s success and the execution of thenotification are still pending.
