On Thursday, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) lifted the freeze onvoter lists, enabling voters to make changes, additions, transfers, orcorrections to their voting information until October 25th.
Earlier, following the restructuring of constituencies, the electoralauthority had declared that elections would be conducted by January 2024.
As part of an initiative to encourage voter participation, the ElectionCommission has extended the duration for voter list adjustments by roughlyone month.
