The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has refused to respondto questions regarding Pakistan’s secret relations with Israel. Speaking onARY News program “Khabar,” Foreign Office spokesperson, Ms. Zahra Baloch,stated that Pakistan maintains a clear position on Israel, and when thetime comes to make decisions, Pakistan will decide in its own interest.
She emphasized that there is no need for anyone to guide Pakistan; thecountry makes decisions in its own interest. There is no expectation orpressure on Pakistan to make any decisions regarding its relations withIsrael.
She also mentioned that Pakistan wishes to see the resolution of thePalestine issue but cannot comment on the policies of other countriesregarding their relations with Israel. Saudi Arabia has not advisedPakistan on its relations with Israel.
