PCB signs landmark partnership to revolutionise Pakistani cricket

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and DineticQ, Loughborough, signed aMemorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the National Cricket Academy in Lahoreon Tuesday evening.

This MoU establishes a center for advanced research and analysis,primarily focusing on cricket’s biomechanical aspects. It covers areas suchas managing fast bowlers, preventing injuries, maintaining player fitness,and providing science-based coach education.

This collaboration between the PCB and DineticQ, Loughborough, represents asignificant step toward improving the skills and performance of Pakistan’scricketers by integrating technology and scientific expertise.

DineticQ will offer accredited cricket courses based on theory toPakistani players, equipping them with valuable knowledge and skills, andnurturing a scientifically informed cricket community for the future of thesport.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Zaka Ashraf, Chairman of theManagement Committee, along with other PCB representatives, including COOSalman Naseer, Acting Director NCA Zakir Khan, Director International UsmanWahla, Director Domestic Nadeem Khan, and Senior GM Domestic Junaid Zia.Representing Loughborough were Mickey Clarke, CEO of DineticQ, and AliEhsan, CEO of Socho Cricket. Before the signing ceremony, Mr. Zaka Ashrafreceived a presentation from DineticQ, Loughborough.
