During the Asian Games Cricket Tournament, Nepal’s team made history in T20format by achieving the highest score, the fastest century, and creatingmultiple records. Nepal achieved a score of 314 runs with a loss of 3wickets against Mongolia, which is the highest T20 score in history.
Mongolia needed 315 runs to win, but their entire team collapsed at just 41runs.
Before this, in 2019, Afghanistan had set a total of 278 runs againstIreland. The Nepali team also set a record for the most sixes in a singleinnings in the T20 format.
In the T20 format, the fastest half-century was achieved by Nepal’sall-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee, who scored fifty in just 9 balls,surpassing the previous record held by India’s Yuvraj Singh with 12 balls.
