Islamabad: The government has announced the launch of National RoamingService on national highways. According to details, it’s good news formobile users that mobile signal issues will no longer be a problem onnational highways as the government will soon initiate the National RoamingService on these highways.
The federal cabinet will present the policy for interconnection sharingamong telecommunication companies in an upcoming meeting, as per theMinister of IT.
The federal minister revealed that a National Roaming Infrastructure hasbeen set up to provide mobile services to users on all major highways, andwithin two months, National Roaming will begin on National Highways. Thiswill allow users on highways to access various mobile networks.

Speaking informally to the media, the federal IT minister stated that thegovernment is launching major projects in the IT sector, including theformation of funds through partnerships with international companies, ascheme of interest-free loans for IT freelancers, and the establishment offive thousand job centers.
