The news of Chairman PTI Imran Khan’s transfer to Adiala Jail by prisonauthorities, which had been declared baseless, stating that Imran Khan iscurrently in Attock Jail.
According to details, the authorities of Adiala Jail have clarified thatthe news of Chairman PTI’s transfer to Adiala Jail is unfounded. ChairmanPTI is indeed present in Attock Jail. The Attock Jail administration hasnot yet received any written court order regarding his transfer.
The hearing of the cipher case against Chairman PTI will take placetomorrow in Attock Jail. The Ministry of Law has issued an order for thehearing of the copher case in Adiala Jail.
Special court judges for the cipher case will conduct the hearing in AttockJail. Chairman PTI’s judicial remand in the cipher case is completing inAttock Jail. The Ministry of Law has sent a copy of the order to theSuperintendent of Attock Jail.
It should be noted that earlier, Imran Khan’s lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat hadconfirmed on the social media platform Twitter that Imran Khan had beentransferred to Adiala Jail. Imran Khan has been placed in a room withattached bath and other facilities that are permissible under the prisonrules for a former Prime Minister. Islamabad High Court had ordered thetransfer of Chairman PTI Imran Khan to Adiala Jail with the provision ofall facilities.
Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court Justice Aamer Farooq had heard therequest for the transfer of Chairman PTI from Attock Jail. Chief JusticeAamer Farooq remarked that the status of Chairman PTI’s sentence haschanged. All under-trial prisoners in Islamabad are in Adiala Jail. Why isChairman PTI still in Attock Jail?
