The captain of the national cricket team, Babar Azam, was issued a trafficticket by the National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP).
According to media reports, Babar was fined for overspeeding. He was seencooperating with the officer in silence, fully aware of hisresponsibilities as a public figure.
Earlier this year in May, Babar was stopped by excise officers at Lahore’sLiberty Chowk. Officers noticed that his license plate was unusually smalland did not comply with standard size regulations. They recommended thatBabar replace his number plate with a standard one to adhere to the rules.
Excise officers also verified Babar’s vehicle registration and taxdocuments. During this time, Babar maintained his composed demeanor.
