Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar arrived in London on Saturday,amid speculation of a potential meeting with the Sharif brothers, who arecurrently in the city.
Videos captured multiple cars entering the Churchill Hyatt Regency hotelin London, coinciding with reports suggesting that Kakar had come to thecity for “significant” meetings.
These reports further indicated that upon his arrival from the UnitedStates, where he had attended and spoken at the United Nations GeneralAssembly session, Kakar was received by the deputy high commissioner.Sources disclosed that Kakar’s purpose in London was to meet with NawazSharif and Shehbaz Sharif in the near future.
Nawaz Sharif has been residing in London for nearly four years, whileShehbaz recently returned to London following a brief visit to Pakistan.The reports hinted that the meeting might occur during a family dinner.
