In a case related to the charges of incitement and sedition, bailapplications of 55 accused, including the renowned fashion designer KhadijaShah, were submitted before the court. Previously, the court had reservedits verdict after the hearing, and later, the court issued a decision onthe bail applications. The court rejected bail to Khadija Shah, AliyaHamza, and 55 other accused individuals.
Anti-terrorism court Judge Arshad Javaid heard the bail applications of theaccused, including Khadija Shah, Sanam Javaid, Rubina Jameel, and SamiaAsad, as well as other accused individuals, Babar Hussain, Faiyaz Ahmed,and Ashima Shujaat.
It’s worth noting that the accused had not been granted bail once again dueto their involvement in new charges, including sedition, added to the case.The case against the accused is registered under section 96/23 at the ThanaSarwar Road police station.
