President of Islamic Country to arrive in Pakistan soon

Yerzhan Kistafin, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, conveyed on Saturday thatPresident Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan is poised to make an officialvisit to Pakistan in the near future, aimed at further fortifying theirbilateral trade and economic ties. This announcement came during agathering with members of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry(ICCI).

Addressing the audience, Yerzhan Kistafin, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador,emphasized his nation’s eagerness to enhance trade relations with Pakistan,highlighting the considerable potential for trade across various sectors.He recalled that in the previous year, Kazakhstan had organized a tradedelegation’s visit to Pakistan, expressing optimism that the forthcomingvisit of another Kazakh delegation would play a pivotal role in advancingbusiness ties between the two countries.

Pakistan and Kazakhstan, he asserted, possess ample opportunities forcollaboration in numerous domains such as construction, agriculture,energy, textiles, pharmaceuticals, food products, engineering equipment,machinery, banking, and finance. Furthermore, he stressed the importance ofexploring the establishment of road and railway connections that couldsignificantly bolster trade and economic connectivity between the twonations.

The Ambassador went on to disclose that the ICCI is actively planning adelegation’s visit to Kazakhstan, with the primary objective of identifyingfresh avenues for business partnerships that will foster the growth ofbilateral trade relations between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
