The International Cricket Council (ICC) has awarded India the top positionin the global rankings for One Day International matches.
India secured the first position in ICC’s One Day Cricket rankings after asuccessful match against Australia.
In the first One Day match of the series between India and Australia, Indiadefeated the visiting team by 5 wickets and became the number one team inthe world.
In the ICC rankings, the Indian team has 116 points, while thesecond-ranked Pakistani team has 115 points.
